We found out we were pregnant again in December of 2014. Elise had just turned 2 in July and Luke was 10 months old. As one can imagine we were shocked that we were pregnant AGAIN!
I called the doctor’s office and scheduled my 8-week appointment and my first ultrasound for January 29th, 2015. When we made it “Facebook official” on January 19th, Dustin’s 30th birthday, and announced that we were expecting for some reason people kept joking, “I bet you’re having twins.”
Dustin worked with someone that had twins and she kept telling him that we were pregnant with twins. She did take a little bit longer than usual, but she asked me a question here and there, which made me feel better and I didn’t think anything else about it.” She left the room to get Dustin from the waiting room. A couple minutes later they walked into the room and Dustin said, “So, do you know yet?” I rolled my eyes. “Really… is he still thinking about the twin thing again,” I thought. He came and stood next to me. “Your husband was telling me on the way in that y’all have two little ones,” the ultrasound tech said. “Well, it looks like y’all will really have your hands full because you’re having twins!”CONTINUE READING
